INGREDIENTS

Chestnut400 g, Water500 ml, Brown sugar300 g

TIPYou can use soy milk or low fat milk instead of water.

METHOD

  1. Peel and cook chestnuts.
  2. Blend the cooked chestnuts and 300ml water together.
  3. Put in 200ml water and black sugar in a pot and stir them until the sugar is melted.
  4. Boil the sugary water at a low temperature until you get your preferred thickness.
  5. When it’s done, pour the thickened chestnut spread into a sterilized glass bottle.
