It is a raw-food brownie that was made with nuts and dried fruits, instead of flour, oil and sugar.
INGREDIENTS
Walnut50 g, Semi-dried persimmon100 g, Cacao powder30 g, Carrots powder30 g, Vanilla extracta little, Salt1 g, Water5 ml
TIPYou can replace walnuts with almonds, but then you need to add more sugar for less fat, to make a balance of taste. So, if you use almonds, you need to add at least a tsp of agave nectar.
METHOD
- Soak walnuts in water for 12 hours or longer and rinse them. Dry soaked walnuts in the drier at 35℃ for 20 hours or longer.
- Put the dried walnuts into a container and blend them to a fine powder.
- Put all the other ingredients and blend together. Don’t blend too much because you may lose the oily texture of the walnut.
- Pour your mix in the pan 3 times and flatten it. Then, cut it into 6 parts first and then smaller portions.
NUTRITION
With 60-70% of good fats, walnuts are rich in linoleic acid and vitamin E, which prevents hardening of the arteries and slows skin ageing. Walnuts, especially high in non-essential fatty acids, are a source of good fats.
